You train every day like an Olympic athlete, but your work is largely INVISIBLE – because nobody can possibly see the truth of what’s going on in your mind and heart.

They aren’t aware of the hundreds of decisions you’re making in the course of a normal day…much less an extra challenging one.

They witness the tangible external results, not the enormous effort required as you navigate the gauntlet.

The result?

You challenge your heart and mind to grow bigger, stronger, braver…which is a hell of a lot of work…but you get very little acknowledgement from the people around you (except maybe about the parts that aren’t going as well as you’d like).

The fact that you keep showing up under these circumstances- over and over and over again – is nearly miraculous.

This is proof that you, Dearheart, ARE a brave and magical creature.

I read about your secret struggles. I witness the challenges you face. I KNOW how hard you work, even on days when you can’t recognize how far you’ve come. I am incredibly proud of you and the ways you show up in the world.
