Can you believe it? The turn of the seasons has arrived, bringing new possibilities into our lives right now!
It’s been a rough few months for so many amazing souls. Somewhere between the exceptionally long winter and the head-spinning news cycle, we almost forgot Spring was coming. But here it is! With a beautiful opportunity to see and feel the energy shifting.
I’ve learned a lot that I can’t wait to share with you.
For now, I offer you one very specific gift.
Throughout the turmoil of winter, this is the gift that has kept me steady.
Consider this a blessing from the Goddess.
No matter what is going on around you, I challenge you to claim a space for at least 3 minutes every single day where you know for sure that you are safe. Where you can look around and assure yourself that nothing is going to eat you.
Yes, really.
There is a primal part of you that stands guard, ever watchful.
Thank it for working so hard to take care of you, and give it a brief rest.
Place yourself in an environment where this part can feel confident that you are truly OK for a few, short minutes.
Temporarily set aside your fears about possible upcoming events. You can always pick them up later (although this is optional!)
Then feel into your body, relax your belly and b-r-e-a-t-h-e while you repeat this one statement to yourself:
I am Safe. Right now, in this moment, I am safe.
And once you notice you are settling into a tiny space of stillness, give yourself a brief embrace from the inside out.
It is wonderful to feel safe when other people are holding sacred space for us, but they can’t always do that…. even when they dearly love us.
But WE can give ourselves this gift anytime…. increasing our energy, stamina and freedom to see creative options for manifesting more health our lives…. not from a space of striving, but from a space of tapping into the safety that is always present within the Divine.

May you know the truth of your authentic beauty that I see within you!

Nice article, Christy. Its not possible everyday, but when I get out into the forest or other natural areas I am always able let my guard relax and feel safe. I find this ironic given that that’s where all the wild thing are, right? Now, to find that everyday space….
Thank you for sharing your experience! I do think that the wild things in the forest can often feel more harmonious than the wild things in crowded areas. Glad you are bringing the wisdom into your daily practice – it always inspires me to witness the ways in which my readers walk their truth.
